Please help! I have received about 6,000 of these over the past couple of days with 'Mail System Error - Returned Mail' messages and they are still coming despite setting up filters to remove them to my spam folder and also changing my password and security questions with my email provider. I am using Outlook 2016 and have an @virginmnedia email address. I am also receiving abusive emails from strangers asking why I am spamming them, so emails are obviously going to them without my knowledge or authorisation. I have tried the Virgin Media forum without much success - they told me to change passwords and either live with it or change my email address but this is not an option! I am not losing my email address! There must be a way to stop these! Norton doesn't stop them from coming in - I just set up filters in Outlook to move them to spam. It is not solving the problem. Please can anything be done to stop these? It is driving me mad and upsetting people! Thank you.
