There is a major bug in NIS 2012. This has happened TWICE now. After performing a Smart Definition update, my Internet connection is completely BLOCKED. I tried clicking on the little red 'X' in Network Sharing Center to have Windows 7 fix it. I tried using Norton Firewall Diagnostics. Nothing worked. The only thing that works is rebooting. I have included pic's below. At the bottom, you see the results AFTER REBOOTING. Shutting off the Smart Definition update and doing the full 148 MB update seems to avoid this problem.
