Hello dear Norton,
Since I have installed the new beta Norton Security 22.0.0.91, there is a major problem at the first start-up of the day, namely NS DOES NOT START UP on my Wiindows 7 (x64) PC.
I am a very satisfied Norton client fot almost 20 years now , and never had this with any of the prevous béta's of NS 2015, neither with any of the previous NIS-products.
Even if you click on the program icon on the desktop or right-click on the icon in the icon taskbar in the right corner of the screen, it doesn't react at all. In the system tray there's a red cross in the security/maintenance icon of Windows 7, and when you click it, you get the message in the attachment : NS is turned off (attachment in dutch).
I checked the start-up-services of Norton, and everything is ok there , strangely enough it says there that NS-service is automatically started, and also marker "started".
Strangely enough there is nothing to be found in the windows loggings !
The only solution is to restart my PC, and mostly it's OK at the second start-up.
I report this as a major bug since the PC is not secure as long as you don't restart it, and also considering that I NEVER had this problem before with earllier versions.
