I apologize upfront for this post as I know there are many posts about this, but between these posts and information on MBAM's Forum, it gets confusing to an old guy like me! I have MBAM Pro that I purchased several months ago, before I came back to Norton. Can someone please clarify for me the following?
1. Can Malwarebytes Pro run along aide NIS 2012, if it's added to exclusions?
2. If so, what exactly should be excluded in NIS - NIS is my top priority here?
I currently have MBAM off (disabled real-time protection, scheduled updates, scan, etc). I also unchecked the box using NIS 2012's startup tool. It would be nice to allow the scheduled updates and scans to remain on, but that apparently requires that the MBAM service start on system startup.
