Updated my computers to Windows 8.1 yesterday. Today I went to run 360 and got the 8505 error.
Ran Norton uninstall as directed and after required reset went to Manage.Norton.com to reinstall and could not connect to the sign-in link. The connection timed out every time.
Also tried to connect from my notebook which worked fine after the 8.1 update and also could reach the log-in site.
Have not found any other website the I could not connect to secure or unsecure including my online banking. It would appear that Norton's sites are down
