Is it just me, or does anyone else conclude that the "MANAGE NORTON" function has seriously declined in multi-computer usefulness over the past 3 or 4 years? Earlier versions would reveal the user given processor names included under each license simply selecting "services", but today the user given computer names are effectively concealed being replaced with user meaningless identifications (XP-13 for example)., I know which machine "Kludge-Master" is, or "Newton" or "Maxwell? I don"t know, which is XP-8 or XP-16., or which licens covers them. In my case, each license covers 3 computers. I currently have 6 of my 15 computers under Norton protection. and am thinking about adding 10 more under Norton, but not until "Manage Norton: gets fixed. There are other problems with "Manage Norton" that I haven't mentioned, but I'll save these for another post.\
People ask me why I cling to the "obsolete" Windows XP Operating System -- Simple: I (*we) do real-time, embedded operating system programming. Microsoft abandoned this market in favor of the mass market, effectively "dumbing down" NT and XP, added a new shell, and named these essentially consumer products "Windows 7" and "Windows 10". [It's a bit like Norton dropping their really wonderful disk editor from "Norton Utilities".
