when i right click on multiple drives and run the virus scan, after a while the scans windows disappears before scan finish and at the time of disappearing the tray icon restarts. the scans are kept working in the background but without showing the scans windows.

4- the scans are not stop and kept running in the background but no way to show the scans windows again
Thanks for the post-back. The information in the opening post was suggestive that your OS was outdated. Never hurts to clarify. 
Check for fast startup being enabled in your system power settings or it may also be in your BIOS settings. Disable it and reboot fully. Recheck to see if this persists.

Hello. I attempted to duplicate since I have more than one drive in the system I am currently using. Scans completed normally without either drive scan dialog disappearing nor did the Norton product restart Windows Explorer.
Conversely. Is there a reason you are still running a version of Windows 10 that isn't any longer supported by Microsoft? The latest is 22H2 build 19045.2965. You are missing a ton of security, other features and fixes that will add to the performance of your computer.
