So Norton Mobile won't update using Live Update. While Norton looks into this issue for me I am wondering how I can manually download and install updates until this is fixed. I searched but can't find updates anywhere.
Hey Fbgnarm thanks for the reply. The issue is (and I didn't put this in the original message as it wasn't relevant to the question I asked) is that when I try to do a LiveUpdate I get an error message. This message along with the support phone call from Norton have confirmed that there is an issue that they are looking at.
So thanks again for your response but as you can see it wasn't relevant to the question asked. Cheers.
Thanks for the reply and confirmation..will have to uninstall and use something else til Norton sorts this out. In relation to your questions the answer is yes on mulitple occasions as well as uninstall/reinstall, removal from Norton Account, removal from Norton Mobile Account, device cache and davlik clear etc etc etc. Thanks again.
I added emphasis in the above quote.
uninstall/reinstall = update if it was from a fresh download from the Norton server therefore it's a MANUALUpdate. Even if that was the way to coax LiveUpdate to function it may have skipped doing anything because there was nothing for it to do.
LiveUpdate does incremental updating that saves network utilization vs download of entire product over and over. It's a feature that used to be a program/sub-program/accessory sort of an App. now built-in to some Norton product but not others.
No point in mudding the waters it has been pushed up the line for an engineer to look at so will leave it with them. Thanks anyway appreciate the help.
We try to help users with problems. Sometimes our experience with the products exceeds the information that the support people have available to them. After all, many of the support people may have never seen the product.
If you would like to try to have us help, we need the information I asked in my previous post. If not, no problem.
Not really sure how that would help me or answer the original question which I think you have already done by advising that there are no manual downloads. Have I missed something?

There is no manual download for mobile products, like there is for PCs.
Have you tried going to Android Settings - Apps and look for your Norton Mobile Security. Then clear the app cache and app data. Restart the device and then try LiveUpdate again.
