Maxed Out on my NIS licenses for my 2 10-User License Subscriptions

I have 2 - 10 user licenses for a total of 20 licenses for NIS.  Yesterday I used my last available license to re-configure my daughter's Laptop.  I only have about 8 to 10 active PC's using Norton NIS.  I've had these two subscriptions for many years.  Over the years I've had to reinstall OS's and re-configure and the subscription seems to not know it is the same computer so it takes another one of my available licenses.  Also, many of my older PC's have been retired and destroyed yet I'm sure they are listed as having a subscription in use.  In my 2 - 10 user subscriptions in my Norton Account, how do I free up and correct what is truly an active PC/Laptop using NIS and remove (free up licenses), for what is being doubled up or PC's/Laptops that have been retired?

Download a copy of Norton directly from your Norton account. Don't worry if your licence is marked as having no further downloads available, just download and install. It works every time for me, so hopefully it'll work for you.

Yes - they folks in the on-line chat service area did help and were quite quick!!

Glad they were able to help you and thank you for coming back and giving us some feedback.  Maybe it will help someone else.  One more thing, if you're satisfied with their help, would you click on solved to let others know you are happy with the solution?

This may only work if you are reinstalling on the same hardware as before and from what the OP wrote that did not sound likely so the CHAT route is often the best simplest and quickest ....

But thanks for the suggestion .
