McFee Security prompted and suggested I have security exposures but Norton suggests all ok. McFee are then trying to sell me their software. Either McFee is behaving criminally by telling lies or Norton is not up to the game. Who to believe?

Can you give us a little background about your computer please? What operating system and what service pack are you using? What Norton product are you using and what is the version number please? Are you running both McAfee and a Norton product on your computer at the same time? If you are, there are going to be a lot of conflicts going on..
