I will put this in context if possible. I purchased PCPitstop and they wanted me to white list them so NIS firewall did not interfere. In NIS 10 there was a place to this, but not in NIS11. As things stand they have no problem letting there app run from there site.e was message that flashed by from Norton too quickly to read. PCPitstop works fine?
Next I used Norton to do it's thing. The message was a potentially dangerous file has been quarntined. It was mediaspace.msi. From who I do not know. I had it deleted.
From somewhere came AusLogic with a registry cleaner. I let it run as Norton and Antispyware Pro, Lifetime subscription have done an excellent job from going to FaceBook. The scan from AudLogic said I had 1302 file errors and a bunch of registry errors. I contacted PCPitstop and told them about the incident. Surprise, I was told that AusLogic was a deep registry cleaner and PCPitstop was not that good of a registry cleaner.
Earlier today when I tried to log in I was prevented because the E amail address kept me from typing the full name of MTCO.CO and it would not take the M. I rebooted and got in. What is it that makes the keyboard type characters other than the ones you type. It happens about once a week. I always do a cold boot to flush the buffers completely. Good old DOS and the communication apps. My machine is a duo-core from Intel 2.13 GHZ It is fast as I want??? I purchased Microsoft Office Pro 2010. what a bunch of baggage and apps I will never use. Norton asked me to write to you so some judgement might be made.
Another little devil, Google. I was at Dell and being told I could install an EXTERNAL POWER supply as the GT9500 from nVidia uses 300 watts and it was supposed to work on my system. while in chat a Google ad appeared in the lower right hand corner with Price Gong offering the same at half price. I ordered from a site Aae.comand unknowning I was redirected to a porn site and gave my credit card and security code!~ I was unaware of this until after I had made the purchase. Google hit my Credit card with 60$ and then said ir=t was out of stock and reversed the charge. Google as in PayPal? NPE.com offered a faster connection. I deleted it as I did not have any idea how it got to be on my puter. Enough for tonite. Thank Yu for making me a Newbie. I will try to live up to beyond that. Thanks for your efforts to make NIS the best.
