Message says "missing live update components" and tells me to reinstall

I've tried to download norton antivirus again, but to no effect.  Very painful renewal process for macintosh computers.  I'm assuming Norton doesn't want to support mac, so they make it painful.

 

Can anyone assist with this issue?
