I know this issue has appeared before, as I have just done a (Norton) search. The search thread I found was closed without a solution. I need a solution. Basically My Norton 360 licence auto updated last month. I noticed the other day that it was reporting it was out of date, so I downloaded the removal tool, removed the old software and successfully installed the new version (licensed). But I am getting a message on the Norton Control Panel, in red, saying: Security: Your Computer is at Risk. (All the other CP messages are in green). I have run the auto update and that worked ( and under the red message saying Your Computer is at Risk, it also says version: current, in Green. ) I have also run a complete Norton scan and it reports no problems. However I cannot clear the red Security Message. What to do next? Help appreciated.
