Messed up my networking!

I have Norton 360 Premier. I installed it when it renewed. It "fixed" a firewall issue ( HA HA ) and now, I cannot open my ACT! Database on my network. Let me say, I am not a PC idiot. I went into the very minimal setting and turned off the setting that applied to firewalls, which it had switched on. There are NO other settings for networking or anything more advanced for me to tweak. I cannot open ACT on this PC or the other  and I am very frustrated. We are a small business and we need our database. It is our life's blood.
