After Norton stopped the W32.silly fdc, I rebooted lap top and got a message that read: "Could not load or run C:\Users\chrisl-1\Appdata\local\temp\dwm.exe - specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry."
I tried resetting Windows at several past dates with no success. I tried the steps to download Norton Power and still was unable to get on the internet. I tried the Norton online support but cannot get to it because it apparently needs the explorer.
I know the connection is good as I can send and receive emails, but am at a loss trying to get explorer operating properly. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
