Microsoft has release fresh micro-code update KB4497195 for a fresh list of CPU's. Worth a look to see if you need to get the update or if you already have it installed. Purportedly AMD users are getting the same patch. I haven't checked my AMD machines prior to this posted but will do so ASAP to validate.

I wondered the same. Previously MS had released the micro-code through LU therefore I'm banking on either they made a boo-boo and pushed to every install/seaker, or went with the last update scenario.
I'm an AMD user and just checked Upate -- something is coming down so I'll check the ID
KB4497165 which only liss INTEL CPUs so why I should get it when I've:
