Microsoft Office 2007, Updates and Problems With Norton 2011 Live Updates

Hello,

 

I have Windows Vista and NIS 2011 installed.  Everything was working fine until I installed Microsoft Office 2007.

 

I scanned the disk before installing the program and there were no viruses.  The installation went okay and I installed all the Windows Updates for the program (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).

 

NOW, Norton Live Updates will not work.  Message in RED says, "No updates applied.  Failed to complete".

 

Is there somethingin Microsoft Office 2007 that is incompatible with NIS 2011, or could the Windows Updates have contained malware?  I checked the Norton Community and found nothing pertaining to this problem.
