Thanks for the reminder floatingred! It is such a light month for updates my not hearing any buzz about critical patches made me completely forget.
Also, I would like to mention that Microsoft must have finally fixed microsoft update because it is running like 10 million times faster for me than it did in the last year or two of updates.
Usually it would take both my home computers (1gb and 2gb both running xp) at least 3-4 minutes just to open microsoft update so I can start checking for updates. Plus, the check for updates scan would usually take at least another minute. Now, both of my computers load microsoft update almost instantaneously (5-6 seconds tops) and the check for updates scan takes maybe 30 seconds at the most. Thanks Microsoft!

Hi, guys,
Thanks for Posting your comments.
My Signature will always be Updated whenever Patches are Released for high-profile Products that I become aware of, so, that should keep you up-to-date. And any Vulnerabilities that are high-profile, which are causing trouble, Patched or Un-Patched.
With regard to WIndows' Vista not Notifying you: Maybe Vista is installing Updates as you Shut Down your computer? Maybe they haven't been Downloaded yet and you got there before Windows O.S. Automatic Updates Downloaded them?
You should change your name to patch guy
