Recently, Microsoft released Windows 10 November Update to the public. Now, it seems like the company could be pulling the update from the public. The software giant quietly pulled the Media Creation Tool for the November Update, and the Media Creation Tool now downloads Windows 10 Build 10240 (instead of Build 10586).
Interestingly enough, it looks like the update isn’t available via Windows Update anymore either. I tried to get the November Update from my Windows 10 laptop which is running Build 10240 (since July 29th) and it isn’t getting the November Update, which is surprising.
It is worth noting that the Media Creation Tool download page states that the tool “cannot be used to update Windows 10 PCs to the November update (Version 1511)”.
We have reached out to Microsoft for an official statement on this, and we will update this article when we hear back. However, as it’s the weekends, we probably won’t have an official statement sometime soon.
