Microsoft Remote-Assistance/Easy-Connect being blocked...

Ever since I installed NIS 2011/2012 I'm unable to use the Windows7 "Remote Assistance" application with family members I'm trying to help.  I setup the "EasyConnect" functions with my computer before shipping their new computers to them.  And it worked for awhile...until I installed NIS.  Now, we can't connect through "EasyConnect", or even with the "invitation file" option.

Is there some way to configure NIS to allow "Windows Remote Assistance" to work again?
