Microsoft Security Advisory (2934088)

"Vulnerability in Internet Explorer Could Allow Remote Code Execution"

Published: Wednesday, February 19, 2014

I came across this MS Security Bulletin. I am wondering if the N360 platform and updates covers the discrepancy, until MS issue their March 2014 Monthly Updates ?

No, FACEBOOK, no GAMES, no SMART PHONE,
no SMART TV, no TABLET, no TWITTER.
I travel light, embracing the extreme minimum reaches of SOCIAL NETWORKING. What I do possess is a grasp of hands-on chip technology, from 8-bit onwards; dating back before BBC MICRO, COMMODORE-64, ZX-Spectrum, and the birth of the Domestic Internet.
I cast no shadow, and leave no footprint on the firmament of the e-Galaxy.
My "Disk Activity LED" has more use of my PC, than I do.

Microsoft Security Advisory (2934088) cites CVE Reference 'CVE-2014-0322':

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/advisory/2934088

Symantec advises that they provide coverage against this attack here:

http://www.symantec.com/connect/blogs/internet-explorer-10-zero-day-vulnerability-exploited-widespread-drive-downloads

Please note that Microsoft has provided some solutions on how to help protect against this attack in the 'How to stay protected from the attacks' section in that article.

CHEERS, NICE ONE !

I've highlighted this subject: hopefully, championing the "little guy", challenged by all things IT.

Hi photo762,

Could you please listen to @huwyngr's post in another thread of yours, which says:

"photo ...

Do our eyes a favor and drop the exotic typography and color schemes, please!

It's a hinderance to communication and I'm afraid encourages me to skip and perhaps miss something really useful.

Just my POV ...."

My POV too, thanks!

Norton provide the facilities for a "RICH TEXT" format. Maybe someone would like to submit a suggestion to have a just "TEXT" Norton Community ?
Always ready to oblige. AK

Thank you.

The facility is there already -- like security for your PC, it lies between the left ear and the right ear of the user  .....

It's called self control!!

I didn't realize that I had so many GURUS out there, admiring my "Word Artistry".

Be safe out there ! AK
