In order to Sync my desktop Outlook with my Samsung S# phone, I've installed MobiSynapse on my PC.
Norton reports it as (I can't remember the exact term, but) software that is not regularly reported and then removes the "offending" dll.
The people at MobiSynapse claim that this is an error and that Norton knows of their software and it is safe (exactly what someone trying to hack my machine would say).
Norton does NOT detect any intrusion or virus, so show do I find out if this software is safe, and if it is, how do I get Norton to allow me to install it?
It must currently be partially installed, because every time I open Outlook, I get a message from Norton saying that it will delete the program and reboot. (Very annoying, if this is a false positive).
I don't know what to do next.
