Actually, I just checked again--the icon is not in the System Tray. I tried reinstalling, but it doesn't happen. The icon is in the other child's System Tray.

What happens when you try to reinstall Norton Safety Minder on the PC? Please explain it means when you say "it doesn't happen".

By "it doesn't happen", I meant that after uninstalling and trying to reinstall, it wasn't reinstalling. It went into an endless loop of both the installer AND the uninstaller trying to run after rebooting. Tried 4 times. Finally, just ignored the uninstaller and filled out the info for the installer and got it installed again. HOWEVER, it didn't allow me to enter in the Device (Family Desktop) that I already had so I had to create a new Device (Family Desktop 2). So now there is an icon in the System Tray. And it seems to be working. But I'll have to try tomorrow as I need to get some sleep now.
I'm getting weary of the problems this is having. Hope things improve.
