Monthly report isn't being removed from my alerts

The monthly report isn’t being removed from my alerts, in spite being read.

Hello @Cnon
Are you referring to the monthly Protection Report not being removed from Norton 360 - Home → Alerts?

Yes, me too.

Do you see any prompts?
for example:

after Run Scan

and then

and now

fwiw ~ maybe, the monthly Protection Report remains sticky for a while.

as always, your mileage may vary

Yes

fwiw ~ maybe, the monthly Protection Report remains sticky for a while.

Are you still seeing the monthly Protection Report not being removed from Norton 360 - Home → Alerts?

I have the same issue with protection report alert reappearing in home screen of the 360 app repeatedly.

Very sticky.

Mine too, it just seems to come back every monthly report.

I have the same issue - it just never goes away however often I click on it.
Renewal is up soon and I think I’m cancelling as fed up with all the pointless notices and scare-tactic adverts.
Such a shame as the protection seems to be great.
Seriously considering switching to Bitdefender as recommended by Which? Tech Mag

There are a number of issues like this with the Norton interface and backend that are buggy in nature and tend to deterioate the trust that a user needs to believe in the antivirus.

Since may of the things that the programs do are unssen by the user we tend to dwell on these other minor issues that distract us.

Althought irratating to me it is not enough to consider switching but I believe Bitdefender is a good choice but make sure you check out all the features and price levels before jumping ship.

Thanks for that, you have echoed my own thoughts.
I have a few weeks to decide whether to jump ship as the renewal email says I can cancel up to 60 days after payment with a pro-rata refund, which takes me into September.

pro-rata refund?
are you US?

Thanks, that’s more or less what the renewal email said.
I am in UK.

Hello @Rufford155
Ahh, okay. UK

Thanks but I’m afraid you are confusing me - sorry.
Are you contradicting what it says in my actual email from Norton :
“We’re happy to chat with you about your subscriptions. But if you want to prevent the renewal charges, cancel the renewal before your billing date in your account or by contacting us . In your account, in the Renewal Settings tab, click Cancel Renewal next to the subscription you want to cancel the renewal for and confirm cancellation. You can also cancel any of your contracts and get a full refund up to 60 days after payment, and after the 60 days, a pro-rated refund of remaining months left in your term. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy or contact us.”

Norton Cancellation and Refund Policy can vary by location:
Please review: Cancellation & Refund Policy

So it’s the same - yes ?

same as here

I kind of feel that way too, sometimes.

Me too !
