It looks like there's more WU's coming tomorrow (Tue U.S. time). There are 4 post updates at AskWoody.com this morning, one of which is about 34 non-security patches upcoming. Here's the InfoWorld link from the site.
One post caught my attention about the Google search engine add-on with IE11. Here's the InfoWorld link from within one of the updated posts about KB3038314 that was one of the updates distributed last Tue. I installed that one along with most of the other last week's updates over the weekend and haven't had any IE11/Google issues. I already had Google previously installed in my IE11 so I wasn't affected by this update install.
There's even a post about a possible MS "spy" issue. Here's the InfoWorld link to KB2952664 that was apparently distributed in February's updates but was included in my last week's WU's. There's a reference to the Task Scheduler so I looked at mine and it does have a daily 3am MS task in my library listings. Here's an excerpt from the InfoWorld article about it:
You can see it on your PC by bringing up Task Scheduler (type task scheduler in the find box), then on the left move down to Task Scheduler Library/ Microsoft/ Windows/ Application Experience. There you'll find the Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser task, set to run at 3:00 a.m. every day.
Something for everyone this week
