Mouse without borders won’t connect, it says the security codes don’t match, however I have the same version installed on both machines, and an identical password. There previously wasn’t a problem. It only happened when I was asked to input a new security code. I am also having problems with Norton Safe Search, as it seems to have taken over my computer, and on my laptop, it doesn’t leave me any space to view password manager. I wonder if Norton Safe Search is the problem. I cant check my firewall on Norton. I am not a tech wizard and Norton used to be easy to navigate, now it has become a nightmare. Everything is so complicated.

Norton 360 for Windows?
I googled how to do it, but I don’t know where I can find it, I have checked my account. hence my joining up on here. Also Safe Search often cant find what I am looking for, and when it does I get very poor results. I tried disabling it on my browsers and adding a new default, but google AI tells me I need to disable it on Norton. When they update the system they don’t email you to explain what has changed, or how to navigate. Apparently I don’t have Norton Security installed, I don’t even know what that is, as all I do is download the product key and follow the instructions. Something seems to have changed with Norton Safe Search, since then, it takes up too much head space on my laptop, so I have no screen left to view my password manager. I am 69, I am pretty computer savvy, but Norton is defeating me.

Yes, I am running Norton 360, I did download a product key and followed the instructions, I have been using Norton since 2010. I have just checked my firewall, and mouse without borders is allowed, so its a mystery. The only thing that has changed is my computer is old and runs on windows 10, my laptop runs on windows 11. The app was working perfectly on both before I followed the suggestion to renew my security key on mouse without windows, and I am told the security keys don’t match. I may never get to the bottom of it.

All: Is this relevant? Windows 11 has some very weird knacks for using certain software these days. Mouse Without Borders is also built into Power Toys for Windows 11.
