In the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\NIS_18.5.0.125\NCW folder I have Mrclean.db (9.5M)and Submissions.db(4M) file in addition I have Mrclean.db .bak and submission.db.bak file. I have had this version installed since December but the backup file just appeared this week.
I deleted the backup files but Norton recreated them with a copy of the latest filesversion (even larger). The Mrclean.db file have grown 400K this week and the submissions has grown about 350K this week.
1. How large will these files get?
2. Currently I have 27M of disk space used by this files -
Why is the bak files being creating after 2 months of being installed?
3 At the current rate of growth Norton will use 1.5M every two week and with .bak files that is 3M
or 6M/Mo
or 72M/year.
Isn't that quite alot of space?
I would appreciate an answer !
