MS Edge and Windows 10

With the launch of Windows 10 literally just peaking around the corner... I was shocked and totally surprised to receive a warning message from Norton Security advising me to switch my default browser Microsoft Edge in favour of an alternative browser. I.e. MSIE11, Chrome or Firefox to get protection and the full the benefit of Norton Security? Okay I am all for security with my systems and I appreciate your concerns about Microsoft Edge. Just one question. Why? Shirley you can't be serious, one would have though that Symantec (Norton Security) would have either patched the current build of Norton Security ready for the release of Windows 10...? Or is MSE in the same soup bowl as Opera where the browser is too complex to support Norton Tool Bar...?

Will there be any support for Microsoft Edge or has Symantec turned their back on Microsoft and will not be supporting their browser which clearly pi***s all over its competition.

Any answers would be very appreciated.
