A quick Google of my problem suggested that NIS could be causing it.
Since installing NIS, when I am working in MS Word 2003, the Font / Formatting Toolbar 'flashes' (not a good description but I can't think how else to describe it, anyway it isn't stable). Excel is not affected.
I am on XP, have updated NIS to the very latest version. Is this the sign that I now need to upgrade my version of Office? [I read of a plug-in; is there one?]
Any hints welcome.
