I would suggest running Live Update and doing a Full System Scan.

After this, another option would be to uninstall Messenger and then installing the lastest version of Live Messenger, Live Messenger , as Messenger can become corrupted and show peculiar behaviour of it's own without you necessarily having a Virus on your system.

What version are you running?

Have you tried a full scan?

I made the mistake of clicking on this yesterday, it came through msn IM from a friend. The link that shows up in your IM window is:

estas Foto So tujo? http://messfoto.c_m/messphoto.exe?

No every minute or so it kicks me off IM and I have to sign in again, 1000 times a day! Don't know what else it may be doing but this is annoying enough! Norton Antivirus couldn't find it and neither did a free anti trojan scan I ran this morning. Any ideas???? Thanks.

[edit: broke link, changed .com to .c_m ]

It will probably help to get answers if you say what version of NIS you are using (Year and version number – Help & Support / About and the second TAB) and what version of Windows.
