Hi, anyone else experiencing some issues with Norton online sales "truth in advertising"? I was on my account this AM updating my credit card on file due to card replacement, when I noticed my lifelock had expired for some reason (separate issue from last June 2020, when I tried to consolidate 2 accounts, Premium and Backup covering the same hardware.. My bad for not following up at that time). Anyway, so I called in to renew my Lifelock subscription and was told I needed a new 500.00 Ultimate subscription. I asked what could be done with the 2 other current subscriptions and they indicated that once I had the new Ultimate subscription, they would transfer me to Norton account support to consolidate the other 2 accounts into my new Ultimate account. Long story short, I signed up and paid for the new, and the best account support can offer me is 48.00 and I get to continue to use those accounts that I don't need until they expire! Considering Premium renewed at 128. and Backup renewed at 133. in June 2020, I think 48. is a wee bit on the light side (128+133=261.00 less 6 months @ 50% 130.50 in current dollars). Tried to escalate and told this is all the "system" allows them to do... I am a long term Norton user, and while they have had their ups and downs over the years.. I have never experienced blatant disregard for customer satisfaction like this.. anyone else? I will be trying to escalate further when full staff back online Monday morning...
