Hi. I am considering Norton DNS over OpenDNS but I need to have a feature where I can add more than one IP address for 1 account. We have 2 ISPs used as load balanced Internet. When I login and set my preferences Norton DNS only recognizes the preferences set for the IP addresss I logged in as.

Hi Katie, I think iateyourham is referring to the Web Content Filtering feature which recognizes the IP address that you are logged in with current ISP. I don’t see any option to add multiple IP addresses to enable Web Content Filtering under a single Norton DNS account. -Vinod
Yes, you are right. I am not asking if there are there more than one norton dns server. I know about the two listed by katie. The way Norton DNS works now is that ALL the settings I use are only valid for 1 ISP. I have a 2nd ISP that I use to load balance our internet. I'd have to make sure that i log in to norton dns with the second ISP, then Add ALL the same Settings for that account all over again. On OpenDNS I can ADD my second ISP ip address to an existing account so that ALL my settings are kept the same for BOTH ISPs.
Hi iateyourham, I have tested my Norton DNS with 2 ISPs. Whenever I switch my ISPs, Norton DNS automatically detects new IP address. I guess the settings are attached to the product ID and product key that your Norton DNS client configured with and with the IP address. Though I am not sure about this. I think Katie can confirm this. -Vinod
Yes, thanks for the reply. I was aware that Norton only accomodates 1 ISP ip address. I need the feature to add a 2nd IP address so I can keep the settings the same across both IPs. I'm going to switch back to opendns until this gets added.
Hi iateyourham,
Thanks for the update. I'll check into this with the team.
Thanks,
Katie
iateyourham,
Thank you very much for the inquiry. The team currently doesn't have the plan to add the feature to the program.
Thanks,
Katie
