I am using NIS 2009 on a Vista ultimate x64 PC and after a 15 minute idle time I just happened to open the temp folder and find hundreds of zip files containing various files from both "my documents" and "Program Files" folders.
At first I thought I had some type of virus so immeadiately scanned in safe mode with both NIS 2009 and MalwareBytes but found absolutely nothing.
After reviewing the time codes of the files and NIS2009 activity logs I am beginning to believe these files were generated by NIS2009 for submission to symantec. If this is correct I find this very disturbing. Why is symantec collecting personal data from my PC WITHOUT my permission??????
Not happy at all.
