My account summary shows that I have 4 devices registered, but the device page correctly shows just the three devices that I have registered. This discrepancy arose after I de-commissioned one device and deleted it from the register. How can this be corrected?

Are you talking about the Devices listed in your Norton Account? If so, that page has been notorious for having incorrect information. The one page in your Norton Account that has always had the correct information is the My Subscriptions page. Click on the user icon at the top right of your Norton Account page and click on Manage My Subscriptions. Then find your current subscription and click on Manage Licenses. That will show the correct information about any devices activated on that subscription.
Once your verify that information, you can delete any incorrectly reported devices from the Devices page.
