What is the make and model of your laptop? Some settings are different in models from different manufacturers. You may want to look at some Windows settings to see if it will alleviate the issue nevertheless. If you inadvertantly toggling the FN + F2 buttons at the same time that will cause the issue.
Open the Windows Power & Sleep screen. Click Additional Power Settings. On next screen identify the active Power plan and click Change Plan Settings. On next screen, click Change Advanced Power Settings.
On that last screen, disable Hibernation, Hybrid Sleep, USB Selective Suspend, and PCI Express Link State Management. And set Wireless Adapter Settings to Max Performance. Save the changes to the Power plan and reboot.
OR
Modify the Network Adapter Properties
1. Use Windows shortcut keys Win + X (or right click the Start menu) and select Device Manager from the menu.
2. Expand the Network adapters, right click on the network adapter of you device and select Properties.
3. Select Power Management tab from the pop-up dialog box and uncheck the item Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
4. Click OK to save the changes.
