My device has been found .... now to turn off lock, locate, scream, and wipe

We recently had a vacation and I had left my Nook HD + on the airplane. I called the airline and reported it within 2 hours and ended up with a case number.  I kept getting email after email that the airline was still searching and it had not yet been found. Three weeks later it was not found so I set the Mobile Norton Security to locate, scream, lock, and also wipe to factory reset. I did this to protect myself from anyone getting my personal information, and I thought after 3 weeks it was unlikely to show up. Last night I got a call from the airline saying they found a Nook as I described, although they felt it was a long shot since it was missing so long. We were able to determine the Nook was indeed mine due to a downloaded a unique picture that I made and bingo, it was there. Also a few other identifying factors, such as my name on the cover under the nook, etc. & the correct password. I told them please don't connect it to their internet connection, or all of the above will kick in. The device is being returned to me and I should receive it by Tuesday. I'm wondering when I receive my device, if I do not connect the device to the internet, and delete the Norton security on that particular device from my account using my home computer, if it will successfully take all the holds off my Nook so I can then safely connect  my Nook to the internet, without the device screaming, locking, and wiping???  Or is there another way this can be handled?  Can Norton remove the locking, screaming, and back to factory reset on their end??? There has to be something that we can do, because I'm sure I'm not the first person who has lost a device that was later returned?????  BekkaF
