I am getting fed up whenever I see that my desktop is taking two (2) Norton licences instead of one (1). The description of the device appears twice in the licences and so, I have used 6 licences instead of only 5 licences. I tried to delete a number of times one of the licences from the same device but it will automatically delete the two licences and so, I have to put back the licence on the same device but again, it will show 2 licences for exactly the same device. This is strange and Norton is adamant. Can you please help me?
In the My Subscriptions listing, delete both entries for the duplicate device. Then restart your computer and then open your Norton product. You should be prompted to activate your product by signing into your Norton Account.
Then log into your Norton account again and see if the number of devices is correct.
I looked at both Devices listing and Subscriptions. They say the same number of devices. How can I solve this ongoing problem?
Are you looking at the Devices listing or the My Subscriptions listing? The Devices page has been notorious for showing incorrect information.
Open your Norton Account at https://my.norton.com and click on the user icon at the top right. Then click on My Subscriptions. Then find your current subscription and click on Manage Licenses. If that list is correct, you have nothing to worry about.
