My free space on PC is regularly getting lower and I don't now what is the cause?

A month before I upgraded from NIS 2010 to NIS 2011 using the upgrade option available in Get Support screen. It looks that installation was successfull and that all is working good. But I don't like one thing. After upgrading to NIS 2011 my computers free space on drive C is regularly getting lower after Live Update installs new virus definitions. I am talking about those stable definitions not the pulse updates.

In about half a month I lost about 1 GB of free space on drive C. I tried to manualy monitor some Norton program folders on disk and noticed that their size don't change so much with time. Then I tried to use the "Clean all but the most recent restore point" function available in Disc cleanup => More options utility. And it worked and clened this 1 GB for me. But today it is another half a month gone and I needed to use the same Clean function again, because I were running out of GB again.

I am just wondering, does NIS 2011 Live Update conected with eating up so much free space on my PC?

I have Windows Vista Home Basic SP2, 32bit.

hi seems strange but you can run ccleaner to free up space or

press windows key +run then type cleanmgr click more option and click the second clean up option i.e for system restore

then click clean see how much space gets freed up and then do let me know!

you can download ccleaner if you wish from here
