My NIS may be compromised, could do with some help!

Hi. I'm new to the forums and just recently bought NIS 2011 and i need some help/advice. I am quite obsessive about security on my system as a few years ago i had some type of virus somehow delete Windows from an older desktop i had at the time. That was a nightmare as i lost everything i had on that system.

Anyway, a few days ago i noticed that the SONAR option on the NIS dashboard has what i would describe as a greyed out stop symbol next to it. Everything seemed to be running ok, maybe slightly slow, so i never thought too much about it.

However, as i am trying to learn everything i can about computers, programming etc, i routinely go through all the different functions of my laptop to learn more about them. I generated a system health report and to my surprise it said it detected no antivirus/security software installed or the software may not be functioning and that various drivers were interfering with windows going into and coming out of sleep mode, one being an AMD multi-vendor miniport driver- not too sure what that is, and a few of these errors have been reported as critical. There has been a few intrusions prevented by norton, some of them strangely from MY IP address, then in the last few days they seem to have stopped and i'm now getting these error reports. I'm worried i may have some sort of spyware/malware hidden on my system but am also worried i'm being paranoid and a little too obsessive about my security.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated
