My Norton 360 (Norton Security Suite) 5 gripes...

Just a few gripes I have with Norton Security Suite 5 (5.1.0.29) on Windows 7 x64 to get on record....

- Still does not support the Google Chrome browser. Lame if won't until Suite 6.

- The Norton Toolbar: There should be the alternative of using a standard toolbar button (that has a mini-menu) in IE and FireFox instead of the completely space-wasting seperate toolbar.

- Does not seem to detect an active Windows Media Center recording (Suite 4 definitely did).

- Does not detect a Windows Backup disc burn (but does detect formatting a disc from Windows Explorer).

- AntiSpam still does not support the Windows Live Mail client. Windows Live Essentials is very popular on Windows 7 since it doesn't come with mail. (I understand it has its own junk mail feature, but I would really like to use Norton's anti-spam abilities instead.)

- Disk Optimizer should have the ability to select only the disks you want to defrag, rather than all of them. And also the ability to set a seperate schedule for it. For those reasons I disable Disk Optimizer and use Windows' own (scheduled for daily).

- Would be nice if the Windows temporary files cleanup listed the files that were deleted.

- The 2 resident ccsvchst.exe processes are 32-bit on a 64-bit OS.

Thanks
