My Norton acc been hacked

I have Norton VPN subscription, not Norton 360, which paid for months ago. But today I receive email (from a gmail acc) tell me to pay more for 360 and call them back. I guess my Norton security acc been hacked? Because it looks pretty scary when Norton acc being hacked.

Your account has not been hacked. Some scammers have your email address and sent out this phony email to you and many others who may not even be Norton customers. You caught it and did not respond so we admire your cyber awareness.
