My norton software updated on a surface laptop and now when I open the program, the action icons that I used to use to activate an activity are no longer part of the display and I cannot use the program. How do I now use the program?

My software updated on a surface laptop with windows 10, and the action icons to run the program features are not displayed as before.  How do I use the program now?
