I have no clue what is going on. It does not matter what phone I am on, every time I check my browser history it shows a porn site in the history with usually multiple searches to it. I have never been on that site ever, and it is not a case of someone using my phone that I do not know about. Is it possible that there is a website that I go to with a virus that makes this happen? I really want this to stop... It is quite awful and I do not want to see that at all, much less in my browser history. Help, anyone?
This has nothing to do with Norton.
The only thing I can suggest is that there is a feature in Chrome that will sync your history, bookmarks, passwords and other settings on all devices that are signed into the same Google account. I just checked and this feature is available on my Android phones and on my Win 10 PC.
If someone used a PC that is signed into the same Google account as on your phones, they may have passed by the site you are concerned about in your history. The only way to resolve this is to turn off the sync feature and clear your history on your phones. Then turn the feature off on the PC. That will keep all your devices from sharing the same History.
If you want to keep this sync feature, you will have to talk to all users of the phones and PCs and set some rules for surfing.
