My Product Key isn't registering when i'm trying to Activate

Hi

I'm unable to activate my recently purchased Norton 2010.. It says that my product key is invalid whenever i try to activate it..

 

Is there anything i can do to fix this..

There can be many reasons for this problem:

 

1. You have downloaded the wrong product, and you try to activate it using your Norton 2010 Product Key.

    eg: You have purchasede Norton Internet Security 2010, you have downloaded and installed Norton AntiVirus 2010, you try to activate Norton AntiVirus 2010 using Norton Internet Security 2010 Product Key.

 

2. You have installed the correct product, but you try to activate it using the wrong Product Key.

    eg: You have purchasede Norton Internet Security 2010, you have downloaded and installed Norton Internet Security 2010, you try to activate Norton Internet Security 2010 using Norton AntiVirus 2010 Product Key.

 

3. A copy - paste error.

 

Please let us know the Norton product you have installed, and the first letter of your Product Key. It may start with "J" or "V" or "T". Please do not post your Product Key here, only the first character.

Another possible reason may be the place where you purchased your Norton 2010. It may not be a brand new unused package. Just another possibility, but as Yaso said, customer service via the free chat is the best route to use.
