Hi
I recently purchased Norton Internet Security 2010 and it has been great however one thing. Why doesn't it detect one of the most common programs that is classified as malware or spyware and all the nasties that come with it, know as MyWebSearch or FunWebProducts.
The Other day my girlfried accidentaly downloaded a program which contained MyWebSearch and the Vundo Trojan onto my computer which i removed not with norton, but with Malwarebytes Antimalware. How can Norton not know about this extremely common Spyware / Malware and trojan. I run my own computer repair business and I would find it on about 60% or more of computers. It is the cause of most of the problems I encounter.
I understand that a virus program is limited by its set of definitions, and its heuristic scanners but come on this one is a high priority, extremely well known and common spyware and Norton just allowed it to install on my computer without any questions asked.
Could you please fix this problem and someone please let me know. Go get a copy of Malwarebytes Antimalware and study it im sure even the great and mighty Symantec could learn some things from this small company's program because im sick of having two programs on my computer when Im paying for Norton to do it.
Thanks
