I'm currently running the most recent version of Norton 360, Windows XP SP3, Microsoft Office
2007, and a DSL netwok connection.
My computer is always on and is configured to receive automatic updates from Microsoft and
Norton.
Every morning when I sit down to my computer I find that the Outlook Express 'Identities
Login' window is open and on the taskbar at the bottom of the page the Outlook Express button
is there. However, it does not have the normal Outlook Express ICON next to it. It has a
round yellow ICON.
I called the Norton support group and spoke to a rep on the phone who could not explain it.
What I really want to know is - Is the Yellow ICON a Norton ICON? Is Norton while updating my
machine somehow launching Outliook Express? If I just close the 'Identities Login' window'
without logging in and re-launch Outloook Express the normal ICON appears on the button in
the taskbar.
I'm including some pictures. The first pic is the screen I see in the morning. The 2nd is the OE 'Identities Login' window. The 3rd is the taskbar button with the yellow ICON. The 4th is the normal OE taskbar button and ICON. Can anyone explain this? Thanks.
