I don't use online backup; because I deal in large picture files, which take forever to up/down load. I use a couple of 1T external hard drives, to archive my data. But, to keep my N360 v3 front page GREEN, I backup my IE Favorites. I know I can inhibit online backup; but, I like my x4 GREEN buttons.
N360 v3 backup appears to be a bit "hit & miss", in as much as it fails more times than it succeeds. I had a big Windows Vista download in May and although the backup appeared to be working, the backup log was not incrementing, Version: 3.5.2.10 appears to have put that right.
Currently, the backup is failing as it informs me it has a problem connecting to the internet. My IE is functioning, ok. I'm receiving e-mail, ok and best of all N360 v 3 Liveupdate is functioning correctly.
The bottom line is the "Online Backup" functioning, today ?
