N.I.S. 2009: Web Protection Definitions' Update and Virus Definitions

I have a few questions:

 

01. Why is the W.P.D.s (Web Protection Definitions) only getting Updated when the Virus Definitions are when they used to get Updated every two hours?  This has been on-going for the last two weeks.

 

02. When I un-installed N.I.S. 2009 and then re-installed, before Running Norton LiveUpdate, the Virus Definitions were 25 days' old - as was the rest of the Components and some Older - the Security Status was still at Secure, when clearly it is not Secure.  Any idea why this is?
