N360 2013: 201.1.2 - Problem 3 - Buy More Storage

Buy More storage task, does not do that. Buy More Storage task simply forces user to activate backup by requiring activitation of log in to Norton Account.  When the "Complete Your Activation" window appears there is no option to cancel (which I think is an omission). The best the user can do at this point, is not enter a password and click "Sign-in" twice , then "Remind me LAter" button appears and this can be used to cancel the operation.

If the password is entered the user receives advice that "You have successfully activated Norton 360 Online Backup with 25GB of online storage." There is nothing about "Buy more Storage".

Hi cgoldman,

Can you please try clicking on the 'Buy More Storage' link after restarting the PC and let us know whether the problem persists even after that?

Thanks

It persists.

1.click buy more storage.

2. IE opens and requires log in to Norton Account.

3. Log in and then confirmation that backup has been activated.

I just tried again and now it works. So I must presume that this has been resolved in the past hours. I will check from the other machines.

Now I get the option to  buy storage, but not before.

Yes, this has been fixed now and I no longer get the direction I had on first install.
