I suddenly discover that I am out of free hard drive space and am looking for what I can uninstall or move/delete to create some free space. I found this large folder (17.9 GB) named N360_Backup. I am thinking that Norton is backing up my files.
I know backing up files is very important but I use a off-site service (Carbonite) and have no need to back up twice. Is there a problem in deleting the N360_Backup folder and it contents and by doing so, will I regain 17.9 GB of free space?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

If you do not backup using Norton 360, you can delete that folder. You can disable the backup feature in Norton 360, so that you do not face this problem in future. Here is how you can disable it:
3 Under Quick Controls, uncheck Backup.
4 Click Close.
Inorder to delete the backup folder, you may need to disable the Norton product Tamper protection. Here is how you can do it:
3 In the Settings window, under Quick Controls, uncheck Norton Tamper Protection.
4 In the Security Request window, from the drop down menu, select a duration and click OK.
5 Click Close.
After you disable it, you can delete the Norton 360 Backup folder. Make sure that you turn on the Tamper protection after you delete the folder.
Thank you both so very much! My 'puter is breathing again!
